Welcome to New England Bernedoodles. We are located in Keene, NH.  We are your typical family who just happens to enjoy Bernedoodles. We also breed Australian Labradoodles you can see them on our sister site at https://highcountrylabradoodles.com/ .

We wanted to be able to share this wonderful breed with others. My daughter who is working towards her PHD in genetics and currently holds a MS in Biotechnology from John Hopkins University and I, with my MBA in business management, set out to breed the best of the best; temperament and soundness being our top priorities.  All our breeding dogs are genetically tested and thru PawPrint genetics and or Embark and are also tested for OFA hips, elbows, heart patella and eyes.  We are breeding Bernedoodles for everyday family life with children or grandchildren.

At New England Bernedoodles, we begin the socialization of all of our puppies at an early age. We do not whelp all our own litter’s our fabulous guardian homes who are our dogs forever home whelp their own dogs litters. The pups are thus surrounded by their families and children as they are raised. This allows our puppies to be truley family raised. We in our home for litters we whelp have a whelping room specifically designated for our breeding girls inside our home.  Our Bernedoodle puppies are house dogs from day one and are not whelped or raised outside, void of human contact. We do not own kennels and none of our dogs or puppies ever see a kennel. They are cherished and loved as all family pets should be either by us or their guardian family. You will more than likely run into and meet one of our breeding dogs hiking with our fabulous guardian homes if you hike in New England. Almost all our dogs are in guardian homes and are beloved pets and a part of a family. Our guardian homes whelp the litter with all hands on deck and I can tell you the kids really love puppy raising time. Our pups get socialized as they should be from birth in a home environment surrounded by loving family and children.

We here at New England Bernedoodles believe that those first 8 weeks of a puppy's life are important for socialization and developing a loving temperament and, therefore, all of our pups are family-raised in their guardian families home or if our dogs in our home. 

Our puppies are socialized with, not only, an abundance of children (young and old), but other dogs as well.  We have a very busy household as well as do our guardian homes. The pups will be surrounded by things like the vacuum, other dogs, the doorbell (everyone wants to see the puppies), dish washer, washer/dryer, the TV, music, and depending on weather, the potential for play time outside.  We do start crate training and basic potty training.  Our puppies will go on rides in the car a few times while with us and this helps prepare them for their ride home with you to their forever home.

We are located in the Keene New Hampshire area and surrounded by the beautiful New England landscape.  We do not allow visits for the protection of the puppies.

Keene NH downtown in the winter. Any season is a good season in Keene, NH to visit, stay awhile and pick up your next four legged family member. We have fabulous restaurants and many lodging options. Nanny service can be provided for a fee if door to door delivery is needed.

We have a 6 beautiful acres where our dogs love to romp and play! We do not kennel our dogs. At New England Bernedoodles. Our dogs have the run of the property and boy do they love to run and play! Most of our dogs live in fabulous guardian homes with their forever families and enjoy all the beautiful hiking and playing that New England has to offer.
